Additional Seniors Support for
International Students
ASSIS can ASSIST you.
Seniors and Retired Business and Professional
men and
women who live in the vicinity of the
Griffith University
Gold Coast Campus and have
volunteered to provide
additional support for
International students,
(often from a non-English
speaking background).
These volunteers would like to help new arrivals
in Australia
and continuing students to become
part of the
local community, and who can offer
advice on things like:
- Banking
- Transport
- Shopping
- Survival
- Cooking
- and
even Australian Slang!
Students
from other Universities and seniors in
other areas are welcome.
There are no joining fees or charges. Register
